Bailee Madison was born as the youngest of the seven siblings to Michael and Patricia Riley on 15th October 1999 in Florida. American actress Kaitlin Riley is her older sister. Her first appearance on television was when she was just two weeks old. She was featured in an Office Depot ad. She has also appeared in commercials for brands like Cadillac and Disney.
She attended and completed her high school from Christchurch School in Christchurch.

Bailee Madison’s first appearance on the big screen was from the 2006 film “Lonely Hearts” as Rainelle Downing. She was part of four different films in 2007. She appeared as May Belle Aarons in “Bridge to Terabithia”. The film was a commercial success grossing over $135 million. It also received a positive response from the critics. Her performance in this movie won her a Young Artist Awards for three categories and a Movieguide awards. This role somewhat helped her establish as a child actor in the industry.
