Club career
Bayern Munich:
Bastian Schweinsteiger’s club career started in the year 1998 when he signed the contract with Bayern Munich. He was the club’s youth team and quickly rose to fame after achieving the youth championship in 2002. He made his league debut in the UEFA Champions League as a late substitute when he was 18 years old. He scored his first goal against RC Lens, which gained him a professional contract from the club. He scored his first professional goal in the 2002-03 seasons game against VFL Wolfsburg.
