Early Life

Caroline Louise Flack was born on 9th November in the year 1979 to Ian and Christine Flack in the Enfield area, London. She is the youngest child of the couple and has three other older siblings. Her father was a sales representative for Coca-Cola and moved the family to Thetford after he got a promotion. The family moved East Wretham when Flack was seven.

Caroline Flack was interested in dancing from a very young age and performed at events when she was at school. She also has an elder twin sister, Jody, who was supposed to be given her name but later named Jody after her mother thought the name Caroline didn’t suit her. Caroline was at school when she was treated for being “severely underweight”.

She completed her primary education from Great Hockham and her high school studies from the Wayland Community High School. After high school, she has studied dance and musical theatre in Cambridge at the Bodywork Company.

In Television

Caroline Flack started her career from the 2001 television film “Is Harry on the Boat?” but her breakthrough was from the 2002 adult TV sketch “Bo’ Selecta” as Bubbles, pet chimpanzee of Michael Jackson. She was then seen as the presenter of “Fash FC”. She had also made an appearance in “Weapons of Mass Distraction” as Corporal Flack in 2004. After the show, she co-presented the reality sports game “The Games: Live at Trackside” for two series. Flack had also co-presented the children’s entertainment program “TMi” for three series.

She was then seen as the co-presenter of “Comic Relief Does Fame Academy” and as the host of “Escape from Scorpian Island” for one series. She had also worked as a presenter in “Big Brother’s Big Mouth”, “Gladiators” and “Something for the Weekend” before she entered the reality show “Dancing on Wheels” as a participant and went on winning the show in 2009. She was partnered with James O’Shea for the reality show. The duo represented Britain in Wheelchair Dancing European Championships in 2009 and finished 16th.

She presented “The Xtra Factor” after replacing Konnie Huq. She was part of the show for three seasons before entering “The X Factor” as a backstage presenter in 2013. After that, she participated and won “Strictly Come Dancing” in 2014. She has also presented in the “Brit Awards” in 2010 and captained a team in “Minute to Win It” in the year 2011.

She was the presenter of “Love Island” and its spin-off “Love Island: Aftersun”. She stepped down from the position after her boyfriend alleged her of assault. Flack was supposed to present “The Surjury”, but the show was canceled following her death in 2020. She had also modeled for Maxim.

She had also made a guest appearance in a number of other shows including “Celebrity Juice”, “Loose Women”, “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire” and “Lemon La Vida Loca”. and was the co-presenter of Heart Network’s “Sunday Mornings”.

Personal Life

According to her autobiography, Caroline Flack has a relationship with Prince Harry in 2009 but ended after the news of their relation started coming out in public. She had also dated Harry Styles in 2011 when she was thirty-one, and Harry was just seventeen. She was heavily criticized for this relationship with a boy fourteen years younger than her. She was also in a relationship with Jack Street, Andrew Brady, and Danny Cipriani.

She had dated tennis player Lewis Burton, but their relationship ended after Burton alleged her of assaulting him and Flack was arrested. She was later released on bail. She had also confirmed that she was suffering from an emotional breakdown and had few personal issues before leaving “Love Island” as a presenter.

Caroline Flack was also listed in the FHM list of “Sexiest Women” in 2015.

Flack had also published her autobiography “Storm in a C Cup: My Autobiographyin 2015 and had been planning to write another book.


Caroline Flack was found dead on 15th February 2020 at her flat in London. The cause of her death was suicide by hanging. She was the fourth person associated with “Love Island” who committed suicide, which resulted in pressure for the show to be canceled.
