Charisma’s Early Life and Bio
Charisma Carpenter was born to Christine and Don Carpenter on July 23, 1970, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her mother worked as a bird sanctuary worker, and her father worked as a salesman. When she lived in Las Vegas as a child, she went to Bishop Gorman High School. At the age of 15, after her parents moved to San Diego, she studied at Bonita Vista High School. She also went to Chula Vista School of the Creative Performing Arts.
Upon graduation, she went on a tour to Europe, and after the end of the tour, she worked as a store clerk in San Diego. With it, she was also an aerobic instructor and a property manager. In 1991, a serial rapist and a former cop named Henry Hubbard Jr. attacked them and held them at gunpoint. They were shot but thankfully survived. Henry was later arrested and sentenced to 56 years.

Charisma Carpenter made her TV debut in 1994 with “Baywatch,” in which she appeared as Wendie Sanders in an episode. A year later, she played the role of a caterer in an episode of “Boy Meets World.” She played the leading role of Ashley Green in “Malibu Shores” in 1996. From 1997 to 1999, she acted in the part of Cordelia Chase for three seasons. From 1999 to 2004, she acted as Cordelia Chase for four seasons of “Angel.” She made a guest appearance in its 5th season. She voiced Jules in an episode of “Strange Frequency” in 2001.
