Jared Keeso is a Canadian actor, producer, and screenwriter. He is well-known in the entertainment industry for portraying the role of Wayne Shoresy in the sitcom ‘Letterkenny.’ Standing at an impressive height of 5 feet and 10 inches (1.78m/178cm) tall, his fans from ‘Letterkenny’ strongly believe that he will be the perfect match for Hugh Jackman‘s Wolverine.

Who is behind this online petition?

This petition began when a die-hard fan of the sitcom, Christopher Atkinson, sent his idea of casting the actor for the role of Wolverine. Hugh Jackman is currently behind the role of Wolverine and has played this role for a total of 12 installments. These include movies as well as video games.

Jackman wrote to the Disney Company and Marvel to consider Keeso for the role. He also backed up his requests by saying that since Jared Keeso has solid experience in portraying tough roles, he would be perfect for Wolverine. However, there has been no professional response to the suggestion whatsoever.

Neither Disney nor Marvel have shown any signs of response to the ‘logical’ claim put forward by Atkinson. He created this petition with the hope of reaching 5,000 signatures but has managed around 3,887 signatures so far. Hugh Jackman‘s Wolverine ended its long run when he got killed in the movie ‘Logan.’ In addition to this, he also stated that he would not return to playing the role anytime soon. He has mentioned no plans in reviving the character.

What are the chances of Jared Keeso being cast as Wolverine?

Shining light on this opportunity, Atkinson mentioned how great it would be if Jared Keeso were cast for the role. Moreover, since Jared has portrayed numerous unfriendly characters throughout his career, fans believe that he is perfect for the role. Unfortunately, however, the casting directors have made no professional progress towards this petition.
