High School Career
Jalen Ramsey was highly active in sports from his early high school days. He first joined the Ensworth High School before transferring to Brentwood Academy. In Brentwood, Ramsey broke the high school record for making a 25’ 3.25” mark in the long jump. College career
Football:
Jalen Ramsey joined Florida State University after committing to the University of Southern California (USC). He started his college football career in early 2013 for Florida State Seminoles, starting all the games of the season in his freshman year. The team successfully won the National Championship game after defeating Auburn in the final. During his sophomore year in football, he made 80 tackles, two interceptions, two sacks, and 12 defends in 14 games. During the match against Boston College, he made a 36-yard touchdown record leading the team to win the game by 14-0 points. For his performance in the junior season of 2015, he was entitled to Consensus All-American. He skipped his senior season to college to join the 2016 NFL Draft.
Track & field:
Not only in football as he was an excellent athlete in track and field as well. Jalen Ramsey competed in various track and field championships and won himself numerous honors and came at 3rd position in the long jump. He was ranked at the second position in NCAA Division I after making 7.62m in outdoor and 7.59m mark in the indoor long jump. He again secured the 3rd position by making the long jump mark of 7.46m in the 2014 ACC Indoor Championship. In 2015, he secured the 1st position in ACC Long Jump Championship after making the 7.96m leap.

Jacksonville Jaguars:
Jalen Ramsey was chosen in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He became the highest and earliest cornerback to be drafted in the franchise history of Jacksonville Jaguars. He signed a contract worth of 23.35 million dollars for four years with the club.
During the rookie year of his Jaguars career, he underwent surgery due to his injury in the knee. He made his comeback and opened the game, recording three solo tackles in his first NFL game against Green Bay Packers. He made four solo tackles during the following week, one interception defending four passes in the winning game against the Tennessee Titans.
