Jennifer was born on 12th of December, 1970 in Cairo, New York, United States of America (USA) to Gerard Karl Connelly and Ilene Connelly. Her father worked as a manufacturer of clothes and her mother worked as an antiques dealer. Jennifer was their only child. She was brought up in Brooklyn Heights. As her father was sick because of asthma, they had to relocate to Woodstock, New York to escape from the city smog in 1976.
Education
Jennifer Connelly joined a private arts-based school, Saint Ann’s in New York City. After she graduated her high school, she enrolled at Yale University in 1988 which is located in Connecticut in order to study English.
However, after two years, she transferred to Stanford University.
In 1990, she transferred to Stanford University in Stanford, California to study drama. Nonetheless, in order to focus more on her film career, she dropped out of Stanford University in the same year.
