Kyle Chandler, whose real name is Kyle Martin Chandler was born on 17 September 1965 in Buffalo, New York, the U.S as the son of his mother, Sally Chandler, and father, Edward Chandler. His father was a pharmaceutical sales representative where his mother worked as a dog breeder. He has three siblings where he was the fourth child of his parents.


Kyle Chandler married in 1995 to Kathryn Macquarrie when he is living with his wife and they gave birth to their two daughters whose names are Sydney and Sawyer.

Chandler graduated in the year 1983 from George Walton Academy where he was a member of the 1979 state championship football team. Later, his father died because of a heart attack, and he quit playing football and was seen appearing on a theatre program.
