Matt Stonie, Matthew Kai “Megatoad” Stonie, born on May 24, 1992, is an American competitive eater and YouTuber. He is the fourth highest-ranked player in the Major League Eating competition.
Stonie won the 2015 Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating competition, knocking off eight-time defending champion Joey Chestnut. Stonie gained fame on his YouTube channel, where he uploaded videos showing his food challenges.

Matt’s first Major League Eating competition was the Stockton Deep Fried Asparagus Championship held in 2011. Earlier, he had won a lobster roll competition in New Hampshire. In 2013, he ate a 5.5-pound birthday cake in nine minutes.
That same year, Matt took part in the Phantom Gourmet Food Festival and ate 10.5 lb frozen yogurt in just six minutes. Stonie also won the 7.5 lb Kookamonger Burger in four minutes, 43 seconds in the tournament on October 26, 2013.
