In 2005, Winston Beigel began his career in the entertainment world. He developed a one-woman play with his then-girlfriend, Melissa Rauch, called “The Miss Education of Jenna Bush,” which was also their first collaboration. Winston Beigel and Melissa got inspired to compose the play after witnessing President George W. Bush’s daughter, Jenna, brag to her sister about how much the audience liked her during the 2004 “Republican Convention.”
The monologue play, which was also directed by Winston and Melissa and starred the latter, was a tremendous hit with the crowd and received rave reviews from critics, giving them their first taste of success and fame. At the 2005 New York International Fringe Festival, the act got dubbed a “crowd favorite” and an “excellent solo show.”
