American rapper Yella Beezy has been arrested in Texas after being charged for possession of firearms and illegal drugs together.
The 29-year-old rapper posted a video on his social media account on Tuesday that showed police stopping and searching his car for illegal substances.
“The cops can be seen digging into the trunk and rummaging around the passenger side of an SUV. “They stay fwm,” he captioned the video.
SECOND ARREST IN SIX MONTHS
The arrest comes as a second one in just six months for Beezy, as he was previously arrested in Dallas, Texas, for weapon charges.
According to news sources from Texas, the police stopped the rapper outside a Dallas strip mall after he failed to stop at an intersection. The police got suspicious and pulled him over, as the windows on the vehicle were heavily tinted.

POSSESSION OF 5 GUNS
Police then searched his car, only to find out that the rapper had 5 guns in his possession. Although the reports did not clarify whether the guns were found on the rapper himself or in the car that he was driving, the arrest warrant affidavit stated that Yalla Beezy being “a documented gang member, therefore cannot legally possess any handguns in his car.”

AN ASSAULT CHARGE
He was also recently embroiled in a lawsuit involving the manager of the late Mo3, according to whom Beezy and his crew assaulted him and caused serious injuries to his body, including a dislocated hip. The incident took place outside a Dallas strip club as well. The manager of the deceased song maker, Brandon Rainwater, is asking for compensation of almost $1 million in damages.
In a subsequent video filmed in the parking lot of the same place, Beezy is seen boasting about the assault that Rainwater claims he was a victim of, making it evident that the incident really did take place.
ALLEGED DRUG CHARGES
This time, however, Yalla Beezy is claiming that the search and his arrest come uncalled for, as he was not doing anything wrong, and that the cops arrested him for possession of a bottle of hand sanitizer, claiming that it was illegal drugs.
BEEZY CLAIMS IT WAS SANITIZER
“How I went to jail and got arrested for hand sanitizer? Not no drugs, bruh,” Beezy said in the clip, explaining that the bottle of the sanitizer was designed to look like promethazine. “Let me tell you how desperate they is just to make an arrest. The homie got a brand of hand sanitizer that looks like the drank, but it says hand sanitizer on it.“
“Wen they run test on the Hand Sanitizer the charges gone be dropped,” Beezy wrote as a caption on his post. “Lied again and said the dogs “alerted” on my car – everybody know i don’t smoke! On straight bs…. i told the man to smell it or put it on your hand and they wouldn’t, couldn’t do nothing about the guns Cuzz everything legit but when guns and “drugs” together that’s a case . Even tho it’s hand sanitizer they still charged me until they find out lol … all they had to do was smell it or put some on. took money , jewelry and phones for what ???? Crazy !“
BEEZY’S ASSOCIATES DEMAND HIS RELEASE
Beezy’s associates have released a statement saying that the rapper is being harassed by law enforcement and that he was not doing anything that demands prosecution. The bottle in question was also posted on Beezy’s Instagram, later cleared as just a bottle of hand sanitizer.
AN UNFORTUNATE EVENT?
Maybe it is just a stroke of misfortune for the young rapper, but designing a bottle of hand sanitizer as a bottle of drugs is not a good idea, especially when you already are on the charge sheet for similar activities in recent times.
We hope what Beezy is claiming is true, and the police soon release him.
